Billing and payments
Payment terms, part payments and the status of each invoice, so you always know who owes what.
Set payment terms on each invoice, such as on receipt or 30 days, and Fatooraz shows the due date and tracks whether the invoice is unpaid, partly paid or paid. Record payments as they arrive, in full or in parts, and each one is matched to its invoice. The list of open invoices can be filtered by customer, and an Overdue filter narrows it to what is past its due date, so a collection call starts from facts rather than guesswork.
What you get
Payment terms set once, due dates automatic
Create terms such as immediate, 15 days or 30 days and assign one to a customer. Each invoice then gets its due date automatically, and you can filter the list down to the invoices that are overdue.
Part payments matched to the right invoice
When a customer pays part of an invoice, record that amount and the invoice shows what remains. Its status moves to paid only when the balance reaches zero, so nothing is closed by mistake.
Open invoices by customer, overdue first
Filter the open invoices by customer to see everything that one customer still owes, with the due date and remaining balance of each invoice. Then show only the overdue ones before you ask for payment.
Credit notes settle returns and corrections
When goods come back or a price is corrected, a credit note reduces what the customer owes. Apply it to an open invoice, or leave it as credit toward the next purchase.
How it works
- 1
Choose the payment terms
Pick the terms for the customer or for the invoice, for example on receipt or after 30 days. The due date is calculated when you confirm the invoice.
- 2
Record each payment
When money arrives, register the payment against the invoice with its date and method. For a part payment, enter the amount received and the remainder stays open.
- 3
Review who owes what
Open the list of unpaid and partly paid invoices, filter it by customer or by Overdue, and read the balances and due dates to decide whom to contact first.
Frequently asked questions
Can a customer pay an invoice in instalments?
Yes. Record each payment when it arrives. The invoice keeps its remaining balance and shows as partly paid until the full amount is received. Every payment has its own date and method, so the invoice shows how the balance came down.
Can I see which customers are overdue?
Yes. Every invoice has a due date taken from its payment terms, and the list of open invoices can be filtered to show the ones past due. Filtering the open invoices by customer lists each unpaid invoice with its balance and due date, so you know whom to call and for how much.
How do I handle a customer who returns goods after paying?
Create a credit note from the original invoice for the value of the return. If the customer has already paid, record the refund against the note; if other invoices of theirs are still open, apply the credit to those instead of refunding.
